Bernie found his way onto an opera stage before ever actually seeing one with Edmonton Opera’s (EO) The Marriage of Figaro as a chorister in 1998. At EO, he met his wife, sang in 13 productions, then took a 15 year hiatus to raise two children. When the youngest could be at home alone, they returned for a couple more. He loves tropical travel, diving, and uses carpentry to pay for it all.
